I've always wondered why Catholics hail the pope as a God when he's really supposed to be the messenger for the big guns upstairs. Simply a man with flaws and good intentions like everyone else.
He's not a god, and I don't treat him as such, however, the man has some understanding, some sense and is probably the kindest man on the fucking planet. He's genuinely a good guy.
"John 14:6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Just in case anyone was wondering. Side note: Muslims don't believe that Jesus is God just a messenger, they also read different texts. Just FYI. Don't mean to be rude or anything.
I don't believe in God but I really like Pope Francis. Unlike the bigoted bible-thumping people like that Hans guy, the Pope inspires love and charity towards anyone and everyone. That's how it should be, not stoning the gays because of one canticle from a book that's thousands of years old and clearly outdated.
I'm a Christian( baptist not a Catholic) but you actually said everything I would say perfectly! I hate Christians that are mean to others like gays or Muslims or anyone really! Ewqua you read my mind
The holy book of The jews is called Torah, the five books of Moses, but there are also other important texts for them. Christians took the Jewish texts, added essentially the four gospels and called it Bible. The Quran is a book written by Mohammed and told by God. Jews, Christians and Muslims share all the same ancestors and the same God.

Thank you for clearing that up. Sorry I didn't know how to spell Torah.
Christians and Jews are sort of the same. They both believe in the Old Testament. But the New Testament is about Jesus and his time on earth and what happened after his time (which is what Christians believe). Jews don't believe that Jesus is the son of God and are still waiting of Him to come.
Y'ever heard of the Trinity of God? Father (God), Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit?

It depends on your branch of Christianity. For example, my religion is Mormon and we're Christians who don't believe that they are all the same person but Catholics do.
I'm an atheist but I know a bit of history, so I know that in the beginnings of Christianity, the Trinity was a thing. Mormonism is a pretty new religion so obviously there are a few things that are different.
