Well Neil Patrick Harris and his husband have a pretty neat system with their child - one is daddy and one is papa. Maybe a similar thing could be applied for two mothers.

Actually, having two mothers, when I was younger I called one 'mama' and the other 'mommy'. There was only a problem when I got lazy and just yelled,"MOM!"
