I think people DO have manors, but it's an archaic word that not often used anymore, so it might seem as if there are fewer manors because people have stopped calling them "manors".

Manor- a large country house with lands; the principal house of a landed estate. Of course some people have manors but many just have a normal a house... you're missing the point that he meant to say manners

It's obvious that she simply misspelled the word. That's why I thought it would be funny to act seriously about it. I don't think I've ever been around such killjoys as you two.

Manor is a word I get what your saying she meant to spell manners but manor is a correct spelling therefore really she used the wrong word
