It's a chocolate egg with a toy inside. The FDA bans it because you're not allowed to have an edible food with a nonedible thing inside it. That's also the reason toys no longer show up in cerial boxes.
As stupid as their rules sound, they have to cater to our lowest denomination. You know that there are people stupid enough that would try to eat the toy.
Did not recognize that they stopped putting the toys in the cereal but that makes sense (as much as this stupidity can), but makes me wonder how they aren't losing their minds over Kings Cakes every Fat Tuesday.
I don't know if you tards realize this, but you can easily buy kinder eggs in the US. There isn't gonna be a fucking swat team busting in your house if you do.
They used to be relatively easy to find in larger cities (and German markets), since they became restricted not so much, and some of us are rather opposed, when trying to give one as a gift, to either declaring them and having them taken at the border or not declaring and being given hundreds of dollars in fines for "smuggling."
but what is a kinder surprise and why is it banned in the US?
