I left school with all Fs and one C. I then took the military aptitude test and automatically qualified for the navy nuclear program. I'm also in the 98th percentile at least in every test I take. Grades don't fucking matter. They don't measure intelligence.

So school grades don't matter, but military ones do? :p

Secured me an extremely high paying job, so yeah. That score mattered infinitely more than any grade I made in high school.

Navy Nuclear Trained Electronic Technician. E-3 the second I enlist, 2 ranks above my non-nuclear counterparts. (Seaman)

I wouldn't say extremely high paying job but good yes. Do you plan on making it a career?

If I can make $100k+ as soon as I get out, I consider that extremely high. And yes, I do.

I'm not trying to argue with you just conversing but what job could you get coming out? And with a 4 year service you'll be at MOST E6 since you started E-3 but that doesn't change your job. What job could you get at 100k or more?

Well, running a nuclear power plant pays 90-120k from the research I've done on different plants of different sizes scattered throughout possible states I would want to live in. And I am trained to do that in Power School (ETs are the ones at the control panels who run the reactor and make sure nothing goes wrong) and I'll already have 4 years of experience. I'm obviously not going to make 100k in he military (if I spend wisely then I will leave it with ~$130k, already done the math for that) but when I get out and get a civilian job I definitely can.

For me taking tests are no issue. Most tests I score really high but I don't study ever

I've lost all hope for the school system in America. Not because they don't teach good things, but rather, because they don't teach. I was so angry when my USH teacher said that the curriculum was modeled to pass the finals. That is not what education should be. Also: I'm growing pretty weary of all the stereotypical starter kit things. They're stupid and are often used to undermine a legitimate belief. Though they can sometimes be funny.

Lol grades show how well you can follow orders. youcannotwin, you are literally the epitome of what the military wants. I know you have good intentions, but the gov't now owns you. Good luck.
