Having grew up in Florida, I'd have to say the reason is that a huge percentage of Floridians and are just as crazy as outhouse rats. Plus meth is pretty cheap.

Yep, I've got family in Florida, they can attest to the vast amounts of insanity. And meth. Soooo much meth.

I'm born and raised in Florida and meth isn't that big, once again. You just hear about it more here. Meth is most prominent in the Midwest, Missouri is the worst in the US for meth.
