Church extreme makeover

Same. I'm glad the skater kids got a new skate park, but it still was probably a beautiful church.

That was my first thought as well.

I'm actually glad they did it this way, at least instead if completely demolishing a historic building they left the (I'm assuming) gorgeous facade

It was abandoned, demi-ruined and desmystifyed, and not owned by the Church.
The destiny of that building was to fall into pieces.
Thus, you can judgue by the photo, it's beautiful and useful. That's not destroying History (and a 100y/o minor country church is not the greatest lose to History of art or humanity)
Not to be rude (tho it may sound rude), but you all may want to check some information before talking about a topic

Also, given the age and history of the country, 100 year old church really isn't very old.
