NOTE: before I get the story I would like to state that I DON'T GIVE A SINGLE FUCK about whether or not you believe in god unless we are
A) debating the existence of god (in which case I hope we can both remain respectful in our disagreement)
Or
B) you are shoving it down the throats of others.
I so very agree. I, personally believe in god, but I also respect that others don't, or they believe in multiple gods. As long as you aren't hurting other, trying to force your beliefs on another, or being an ignorant little shit, we are all good. I'm less concerned with the after life than with looking out for fellow humans in the here and now.
So you're an agnostic secular humanist? (note here that agnostic can be used to describe either knowledge or belief, I am using it in the former category in this instance rather than the ladder)

This seriously makes my blood boil. Books to use for reference should be factual. When a book says that a man can walk on water, turn water to wine, or multiply food from nothing and defy the law of conservation of matter, it's fucking false.
I like it that you want to keep things respectful singer, not many people would talk about different beliefs without trying to be rude or force it on another.
Little explanation:
1) The concept of a transcendental God implies that he cannot be 'proven' by rational or scientific arguments, because its existence lies outside of the world we are conscious of.
2) The unicorn was invented as a legendary creature by humans for Literature or mythology. If you claim it exists in our world (as an immanent being), you have to show a scientific or rational proof.
In this discussion, both seem to have little konwledge about philosophy, leading to poor argumentations. But because in our modern society we are more familiar with rationalism, atheistst tend to 'win' in these kind of discussions.
The difference between the Abrahamic God and the FSM is that the FSM was invented to make fun of religion (specifically Christianity) and thus does not exist.
I didn't talk about the FSM, but you're right. It is a satire and therefore important to show up old and false dogmas in Christianity, as long as they don't also bitch around about who has the better beliefs.
It seems that you don't know me so lemme let you into a little secret of mine. There are four people in this world who can hurt my feelings. Literally nobody else is capable of it. I am not among one of the four.
