It doesn't make you a murderer. However, it does make you more agressive and less able to feel empathy. Players of violent video games are less concerned with the value of human life.
That's crap. I play a number of "violent" videos games and have for years, yet I cry at touching commercials, do charity work and am very empathic to others.
I hate humans in general but I still feel empathy for people. I cry like a baby when i see military coming home vides, commericals about abused kids, and anytime I read about wrecks or something I always hope everyone is ok. Video games aren't going to make someone into a sociopath.
Yes, but it has been psychologically proven that people that are exposed to violent media, over time, they become desensitized to the blood/violence and it doesn't affect them as much. They become more able to see violent acts and it may not seem as terrible as it actually is to them. It doesn't really affect empathy, but does make people more prone to violence.
Probably because all of those other examples require someone to hire you as a "x" (like the chef or the NFL player) or require you to go to school and obtain a license (like the doctor or lawyer).
You need neither license nor approval from a higher power to become a murderer.
