I got lost too. For some reason I thought the owner had a valid reason (ie maybe he actually asked) to think the man had no money. Oops. Turns out he's just being judgemental.

I used to work in a bakery. Every afternoon this guy (who i honestly thought was very poor or homeless) ordered hot chocolate. Sometimes, I would even give him free things telling him it was samples. He would always leave me a tip and i would feel bad because i thought he had no money ... well he was an engineer and i once saw blue prints of one of his projwcts (idk if blueprinys is the right word). He just didnt care what he wore I guess but was always very nice! Similar story happened in a another restaurant job I had and the guy was a famous musician lol...

Never judge people. My kids go to a very expensive private school (we are on scholarship and pay $100 a month instead of $2000 like everybody else.) A woman was complaining because this man "who obviously didn't belong" showing up at basketball games. She described him so security could keep an eye out for him and throw him off campus. I knew exactly who she was talking about based on the description. Very nice and VERY wealthy. Anyway, she turns around so everybody could clap and approve of her and he is right there, staring right at her. She turned beet red. Obviously no one clapped or approved of her because, as I said, he is the nicest man and very generous with the school. And his daughters are very popular.
