I agreed up til the language one. The others are arts and take a long time and some of them may have to come from your heart/soul/whatever. But speaking a language takes 2 seconds and has nothing to do with the others.
Try learning a language outside your own language category. I'm fluent in Dutch, English and German but those are all germanic languages. I'm now trying to learn Korean and oh boy that isn't done in 2 seconds..... It takes time. It takes effort. It takes dedication. It takes your will to not give up eventhough it gets hard. Wouldn't you agree all the other things take that too?

I think youcannotwin means that if you already know the language, it really only takes 2 seconds to say something in it. It wasn't about how long it would take to learn a language.
Toothpaste is correct. I'm currently learning French and I'm nowhere near even half fluent but sure I'll say something in French for you, I don't care. It doesn't take any time or effort to say "I don't speak French" in French or something like that.
If you look at it from being asian, it makes sense
oh you speak Chinese? say hi to me!
saying it, and listening to them completely butchering the pronunciation
Oh you speak Chinese? What's my name translate to?
(English names don't translate, yet some pros still try to tell me I'm wrong and some random person at disney translated it for them)
Sometimes people ask SO MUCH I actually draw them one time I drew this guy on my golf team because he wouldn't STOP and he grabbed it from me and he said "you messed up the eye" they walked away
