Why does every mom text like this

Not mine, she actually uses it properly.

My mom uses a keyboard that is for tablets. She uses it on her phone because she grew up when their was still typewriters so only way she feels comfortable about texting is to type properly.

I have a friend that refuses to even hold his phone with both hands. He insists on typing out everything with his thumb while his other hand just sits there. Often times he'll hold it at weird angles with the one hand to reach a letter or symbol. It's a minor thing and it shouldn't bother me, but YOU COULD FINISH THAT A LOT SOONER WITH TWO FINGERS YA DICKHEAD
