I may be wrong but i think that what she's trying to get to with this tweet is that we should find a way to actually stop the attacks instead of doing that. Personally i think doing both would be the best solution, but it really isn't up to civils to find the way to stop this
That's all liberalism does: "show". Never even consider trying to actually stop this crap. BTW I don't think the point was trying to convince Joe Blow average citizen that he or she should personally stop terrorist attacks, but too many politicians running too many countries think a fucking hashtag and hand ringing will save lives.
Well, posting random ass tweets about it isn't gonna help though and showing a deal of disrespect won't either. I'm all for action against it, I've signed petitions and all, but I do not agree with her method at all...
Why does disagreeing with leftists always equal hatred or disrespect? Exactly who is disrespected here? I'm not accusing you (demon) of being a leftist or anything else, but the standard operating procedure is always big emotional shows and absolutely no substance, and when anyone disagrees with such a milquetoast response they are pilloried as disrespectful, racists, haters, warmongers, and on and on. No, we probably shouldn't hunt down every Muslim in the world, but doing little more than laying flowers and holding seminars to ask why they hate us isn't working either. It doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing proposition; there is plenty of middle ground to allow law enforcement and military personnel to do their jobs.
Who said hunt down the Muslims?! Its a tradition, its respect, for some people it probably is hollow and has no meaning, for others, like myself, it means so much more. And to have someone tell us its an empty , hollow, show of affection is very disrespectful.
Something has to be, and is being done, but while this happens, we should be allowed to greive and lay flower without someone telling us that we should do something when there's nothing we can do. We can't do anymore than what the government is doing...
I don't take the post like that. I doubt she means for you or any other average person to do more personally. The politicians, however, do not seem to be doing anything either. Even our effing president thinks hashtags and apologies are the way to combat terrorism.
Obama has been giving ISIS warnings before any bombing so they can avoid it, and refusing to attack any oil fields or oil trucks that they make money from. Not very serious if you ask me.
