Internal bleeding, major stress, twin child birth, high blood pressure, plus having a broken heart. There have been cases where people die of a broken heart. Usally they are small children or elderly or already in a fragile state.

My dad had a friend who's parent died from a "broken heart". One parent had a heart attack and died; the other was informed later that evening and also died from a "broken heart" (has to do with the stress or shock I think)

My grandfathers cat died of a broken heart. My grandfather died in his home and they found his cat Fanny* laying on his lap dead. That cat loved my grandfather so much that it would go everywhere with him. The whole town knew my grandpa as Sam and Fanny lol. Poor thing was 16 years old, it was healthy and showed no signs of problems. (*cat's was named fanny cause as a kitten it would lay on its back and fan the air with it's paws.)
