It's not like the actors are going to hear you

I went to the last twilight movie with my girlfriend whenever it came out and OMG people wouldn't stop clapping and making noises. The amount of middle aged women taking selfies was INCONCEIVABLE! Stupid ass movie too

So why hold funerals?

I cheered when Wonder Woman came on screen in BvS

I might clap at the end of a movie when the credits start rolling if it the ending was epic or it was overall a really awesome movie.

Uh oh, I sometimes laugh at YouTube videos, but their creators aren't around to hear me. Maybe I should only express myself when there's someone around to listen! No more singing in the shower...

I don't know dude, I clapped at the end of BioShock infinite, if a movie could pull of something like that it'd be totally apropriate

The only time I've had people clap in a movie was during a 24 hour Avengers marathon that ended with Age of Ultron. I felt it was appropriate.
