First release of red and blue, yes. The developers unknowingly set the tone of the music to a sound that's been known to drive people crazy, sort of like the brown note...
They later released a copy of the game where the music is of a higher tone.
I was so confused, I thought this was talking about the cartoon people in Pokemon die in it (which is weird because I don't remember suicides in Pokemon) so I thought it was a creepy pasta fic about characters in Pokemon dying but then I read the link and wow that is so shocking it happened in real life O_O
Well recon, it depends on how you look at it.
There is NO evidence the music caused suicide. I repeat NONE. people will tell you different, but there is no solid evidence.
The original gameusic caused headaches, and newer versions fixed it. Nearly everything else Is some form of creepy pasta, people starting rumors, or a mix-up.
I don't know, I only vaguely recall the pasta. The music is apparently on the internet someplace, but also apparently not all devices can play the pitch
