So. I don't get it. You understood what they said. They're not even requiring you to say it that way. They're not requiring you to buy them - for instance, the fact that they label them as vegan even implies there are non-vegan sweets in the shop. So what do people seem to find so offensive about this? I understand the laughter, I guess - I mean, who doesn't laugh at people different from them now and again? It's the anger that's creepy and mystifying.
By why does it make you so angry? Would "chocolate gingerbread men" make you angry? Because organic is just a preface for what type of biscuit it is and genderless actually makes more sense than man, since, you know, they're a cookie, not a person.

Run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the organic genderless gingerbread figure....
No i d love a chocolate gingerbread man just not this gender neutral bullshit I'll even do a gingerbread woman yeah chocolate , you try the race card your such a tool ,it's fucking heads like you who have the world so fucked
The race card? When did I ever bring race into it? Anyway so it's the genderless bit that pisses you guys off? I still don't really get why, it's such an insignificant thing to get so worked up about
Also I'm not saying there is anything wrong with gingerbreadman or snowman because in those cases anyway man stands for human, as in what the figure is in the image of. My question is why changing it angers you so fiercely. Personally I don't have a problem with either and you can call your food whatever the hell you like

It's the fact that people are so sensitive and trying so hard to not offend people that they don't even call the cookie by the name that it's been foever. It's a gingerbread man cookie. It's the above and beyond pointless politically correctness in the world today that pisses me off. Are people seriously offended over the gingerbread man name?
This just in: Local man is enraged that someone is catering to angry people in a last ditch effort to be catered to. Genuinely fails to see the irony. More at 11.

Atleast I'm annoyed by the principle of changing the name of a cookie and not by the name of the cookie itself.
I'm not angry, I'm confused. A fact I think I've said at least twice now. But I think I'm starting to get where you're coming from, I don't agree with it. But I get what you're saying.
"I'm not angry" title: this makes me want to punch something
Lol I support the trans spectrum and all but this is kinda silly... If you want it genderless, just say gingerbread people. It's the lack of basic English that annoys me.
I'm not the poster! I'm a lone commenter who most definitely isn't angry, although by continually insisting I am you're kind of starting to piss me off. And I actually agree with you, gingerbread people does have a better ring to it, although I'm fairly certain genderless is still a word.
Because chocolate is a flavour/type of cookie, I used it in replacement for organic. I could've just as easily used strawberry. And I wasn't the one who brought up race.

Organic isn't a flavor. Replacing it with chocolate makes zero sense.
