I sleep by the window in my room that gets direct sunlight in the morning, and it's fantastic. I love waking up early in the morning by the light. Exept in summer, when the sun never sets. Then I need sleepingmasks because it's always light and bright.

Yeah but erm, you know, there are these things called erm, shutters, it's really helpful you know

You could just have it in the opposite side of your house to where the sun rises.
