Trump was asked about what limits he would put on himself in war. He said he "Didn't want to take any of his cards off the table" anddddd the report asked him about nukes in the middle east and then threw the easiest softball of all time: "So would you nuke europe?" and trump repeated he wouldn't take any of his cards off the table followed up by this. Idk if the chicago part is real though but the europe part is.
That's great. Means he won't have to pull out nuclear weapons. Quit being so fucking gullible and do some damn research on these topics instead of believing memes and pictures on the internet
I can understand war I'd necessary, but what matters is for what reasons it started, and j can only imagine trumpet being like "yeah we he said something mean"
Although I don't support trump I'd like for you to educate yourself on American politics and what Trump is actually about. Trump is not some warmongering tyrant but rather is at the forefront of lessening US involvement in world affairs and is wanting to lessen the idea of the US policing the world. A columnist compared Clinton's foreign policy to Trump's and it came out that trump looked less warlike than Hillary.
You're so far from the truth it's almost comedic. What's making the world hate the US is the over the top intervention that the US government performs. Our stance with other governments wouldn't be nearly as bad if we could keep our noses out of international affairs. Another thing that plagues the US is the fact that when we do intervene it ends up fucking things up for many people. Take Iraq for example. You have a huge sentiment of people who would much prefer to have Saddam Hussein back in power because at that time they had political stability whereas today they have none.
european banking institutions are normally the main governing body of a country's central bank. America has 5 governors of only two are elected by us. there were 5 countries without a central bank in 2000; iraq, afghanistan, cuba, iran, and north korea. funny how things work, the first pieces of legislation in iraq and afghanistan were for central banking.
"Just because it's trump they'll believe anything." - I wonder why that is... maybe because he's known for talking incoherent crap about all sorts of topics he clearly has no fucking clue of?
When liberal media and pop culture only highlight out of context quotes, that may be the impression people get.
Especially since Trump doesn't twist words around themselves for the sake of appeasing everyone.
"Liberal media" nope nope nope your honest to god ignorant of reality if you belive that. Firstly, the highest rated "News" show is fox "news". Secondly, CNN which is one of the more trusted networks, has a bias towards the centre. They will not take sides even when one side is obviously wrong and one side is obviously right.
How you gonna downvote the thought that nuclear weapons are a bad idea? Do you know how devastating that would be to America, not only would it weaken our ability to stand together as a nation it would absolutely destroy an already crumbling city; a destruction which would take us a long time to come back from considering we can't even fix Detroit now with their current situations.
Exactly my point. Also, famousone, blaming "liberal media" and "pop culture" for trying to give Trump a bad rap takes an admirable level of ignorance, because those would include about the entire GOP officials, pretty much the entire Fox network, platforms like National Review. If you see any of that spectrum in the liberal media or even pop culture, I don't even want to ask your definition of conservatism
I like how people have more respect for someone who is a dictator and actually has nuclear weapons ready for war, than a democratic (form of government) candidate from their own country.
You have more faith in a tyrnaical dictator who has no check of power with nuclear launch codes than that of a democratically elected president who has ways to be checked and stopped? You're joking right?
Russia has never been democratic. There's essentially one political party and most of the power lies with the president who then elects all other regional leaders and the prime minister. The whole upper house of Russia is one party while the lower house does hold some minority parties it's still dominated by the one party.
Uh, so much fucking politics. Dude lighten up, take a joke.
I don't even live in America and have no opinion on politics whatsoever, not even my own, it's just poking fun at the guy in charge.
This is "Funsubstance" not "provepoliticaldomin-ance"
If there was a joke then it went completely over my head. That being said you commented something political into a political post in which people were debating politics. What exactly did you expect?
Morgan, its about making light of recent events. That does happen.
Metal man, I was just dicking around, hence I called him Kimi, and said I had more faith in him. I don't give a shit about either of them, but I was just joking around.
Interesting instance in the book "Getting To Yes" which is about negotiating. Jimmy Carter famously said he's never use nukes against the Soviets, so they were able to push him around in negotiations because he'd reduced his options without getting anything in return. Even the threat of nuclear retaliation back after the USSR had first used nukes would've gone back on what he said. Better to leave all your options open and then negotiate them away _while getting something in return_.
Hell, maybe it's even better for the US for its adversaries to worry that its president may be willing to do things other presidents wouldn't.
Dear god you people love taking things out of context. I don't even support trump at all but he basically just said it would be a last resort if it ever came to that. You are the most gullible people I've fucking ever seen.
Especially since Trump doesn't twist words around themselves for the sake of appeasing everyone.
