Yuck. If being around to see your kid grow up isn't enough of a motivator to quit, you probably shouldn't have had one. Not to even start on the secondhand smoke.
I grew up with smokers and other various addictions have plagued members of my family. Smoking is not something that you can easily just quit and I don't think an idiot like you should get to decide who should have children
I'll have have plenty of time to spend with my child... When I'm in an iron lung... At the hospital... Waiting for a transplant... Watching commercials about how other people need to stop smoking... And my daughter has second hand smoke induced asthma...

I'm a mom, I smoke. I had quit for two years before life kicked me down and it was my first go to. She's never been around the smoke, I never have done it in front of her and I wear a jacket and put it in laundry before I hug her, also brush my teeth and wash my hands before touching her (I grew up with smokers and never wanted her to smell what I had to) with that said, I don't condone the Facebook likes to encourage quitting, however, just because a person has a bad habit, doesn't make them a lousy parent. Everyone has flaws, everyone makes bad choices. As long as your child is happy, healthy and safe, that's what counts. Imho
This mother should lose custody. Not because of the smoking but because she apparently values likes over her and her child's health. Someone so shallow and vapid shouldn't be given the privilege to raise a child.
The sad part is that is not the little girl's handwriting and the mother probably set her up to look cute..
Something tells me that all that mother wants are the likes :(
