Power washers can get dirt and shit off things when nothing else can.

Exactly why they have warnings about not pointing them at humans/animals. Imagine doing that to a person's face.

You won't be able to see it, but there will be remnants that got pushed into the ground by the power washer. So you're making it harder, but also making it permanent.
