Okay, so I know fires are unexpected, and emergencies are emergencies, however, do other people not have a .... pet plan? Like we have a latching storage tote that stays empty that way if there's a fire we literally grab all our pets and put them in there and slam on the lid then out to safety we go, pets included.

Ever try to find a cat in a hurry? I agree you need a plan, but cat's have their own plans.

I totally get that, they rarely cooperate. It's just still nice to have one for when it will work out, like the people in the post did with their dig, and apparently Mr. Dog with the kitten. We've actually had to use our plan before, and we somehow managed to get all three. With the stuff we have and the fact we have a small house, if we don't just see them there's only two other places they can be.
