I meant compared to normal plates, although I suppose I'm not factoring in manufacturing of said plates plus manufacture and usage of washing up liquid or dishwashers and tablets.

But say you lived in a dorm room with no sink, I can see how this would be practical.

I am not saying this is horrible or something like that. I mean, I would totally do it if I lived alone. No offense here. I don't know why the downvotes tho.
