Let them know you play, just don't flaunt the fact that you're a higher level. It won't make you king nerd just because you're a higher level at one game for the time being.

I've been playing pretty heavily since it came out and I'm level fourteen.. a lot of the higher level people I know have been driving around and paying money for things. So a higher level doesn't always mean more time has been spent.
