Being a non christian, I have a paradox I need to ask, if they think they are going to be awarded for being christians, arent they actually being a a.hole if they do not try to convert you to share it with others?

Depends on what kind of Christian you are. Some branches of Christianity just want to relieve suffering and create a better world (saved by good works). Others believe that their religion is what is going to save them and many of those Christians will try to invite you to the faith party to save you (saved by faith). Then there are various combinations of the two.

Cheers to all the vegans who don't struggle as they sink deep into the Well of Agony that I set up in the backyard.

And to all the atheists who are OK with you having a religion without trying to crush your beliefs.

Honestly, I don't bring it up because then I start getting people trying to push their religion on me, especially my mostly catholic family

I was raised Christian and it's still so weird to find out people are actually religious. Especially people I consider to be intelligent. Like wtf
