I did this on my last day of being 17, but as I was taking my ID out, the guy at the counter just believed me so he didn't even check.

I'd been using fake ID so I had to pretend to be 20 on my 18th. I feel like that rite of passage was kind of stolen from me...by myself I guess

I think I stopped getting routinely asked for ID when I was around 26, got asked earlier this year on a night out and it absolutely made my night! (I'm 29 now)
