Yeah that's why i close my eyes when i brush my teeth or go past a mirror because it gives me really bad anxiety D: however i can do my makeup in a small mirror because im concentrating
It's not six times better looking? But one study indicated that (on average, so if you have really low self esteem, it may not apply) if you look in the mirror and rate yourself on a scale between one and ten, you should probably subtract about 1.5.
That, as well as staring into the mirror and thinking "wow, one day I'm going to be old and my grandchildren will have a hard time believing I was once their age too"
I was told that one day when I was maybe four years old I looked up and said "I just realized that one day we're all gonna die" and then continued about my doodling as though nothing had happened and now I wonder if everyone does that at some point when they're little.
Yeah, because the body can't withstand high anxiety for so long sometimes it leads to feelings of detachment from life and reality. Which leads to this ><
Well im not a doctor or anything so i can't say >< this is just what I've explained and my counsellor told me D: he described it like when you look out of a window and it seems like you're looking at a postcard rather than real life
should i be talking to someone about this?
I guess everybody who commented about having it have anxiety? ;v;
