So, learning basic english in 3rd grade and then knowing when someone is incorrect makes me an English teacher? This would explain our broken education system.
I can complain if I want; this is why we have the ability to comment. But it's not like I expect the OP to delete the post. I just like to complain.
I don't know how, considering I'm an English teacher and I apparently know better grammar than you. Care to elaborate on that insult it took you so long to come up with?
I'm sorry, you assumed I was trying to come up with an insult for you? I have better things to do. Assuming things is the worst thing a human can do, and I would elaborate on it to educate you, but I'm busy at school. How old are you anyway? You're getting roasted by a teenager.
Also, you're busy at school, but you're on a break, but this break is so long that we've been having this discussion for an hour? With each attempt you make to salvage your argument and make yourself seem like the bigger person, you leave more questions unanswered than the ones you are asking me.
Why would I tell you my age?
Also, I know that as soon as I submit this comment, you're going to be all, "So you're so young, you can't even say your age?" No, it's that I'm not going to disclose information to people like you because it's completely and utterly useless.
First, I am checking this every so often. I'm sure you have hour-long lessons as well? No?
Second, you again assumed what I was going to ask you. No, I was not going to push you for your age. This is the internet and I respect your privacy.
For some reason, whoever I talk to becomes agitated and when I try to be nice, they assume I will try to hurt them. This is my life and I'm considering blocking you...
This whole English teacher thing is because of what you said. You called me a self-proclaimed English teacher because I can see faults with grammar, which is incredibly tedious and nit picky.
Once again assuming, I see. I called you a self-proclaimed English teacher because you pointed out mistakes. Are you going to grade them? Huh? Give them a B-?
So basically no one can point out a mistake to you? I even said I don't want OP to delete their post. I like to complain.
Also, what did I assume in my last comment?
You've admitted that you called me a teacher I called out the mistakes, so I assumed correctly, so why are you acting like Im wrong?
Me: "You called me a self-proclaimed English teacher because I can see faults with grammar, which is incredibly tedious and nit picky."
The part after the comma was not an assumption, it was an opinion.
You: "I called you a self-proclaimed English teacher because you pointed out mistakes."
So seeing faults with grammar =/= pointing out mistakes?
First of all that's not necessarily true. Alot of people that post these kind of things are actually trying to get medicinal pot legalized because it could benefit them or others. Second, even if they are just posting it because they want to get high (which they would already be doing anyways) so what? They are showing a positive benefit of something they do. You don't see people criticizing people that post about the benefits of wine/alcohol that they are just posting it because "you simply just want to get drunk, yes you do alcoholic "
What? Isn't cannabis oil THC-free? Or am I confusing it with hemp oil?
In any case, yes some people are just potheads but apart from the THC found in it, cannabis has many other chemicals in it that are bloody miraculous for one's health. My grandma used to suffer from bad lower back pain, but she got a lot better when she started rubbing cannabis balm on it.
I suppose it all depends upon whether you bought the oil from a pharmacy or from a dealer...
Also guest #2 has a point with the alcohol thing. As a non-drinker, I feel a lot of pressure from my friends and family. "We're celebrating, you should drink with us!" Uh, no, I actually like my liver, thank you very much. If alcohol was invented today it'd be branded a drug and made illegal.
As a mom of a medically complex kid, I am involved in many support groups with other parents of these type kids. For those who give the oil for seizures, it has helped considerably. They call it a miracle. That being said, the type they use has only trace amounts of THC or none at all. They are not getting their kids high and none of them smoke marijuana. I wish they could legalize this oil without legalizing recreational use of marijuana.
Uhm, no, because you just assumed this was simply anecdotal and there were no studies on medical benefits of cannabis. So you didn't need a study, you needed to google. What does that mark you?
1. The post is anecdotal. It's one child. Anecdotal means "based on personal accounts rather than facts or research". It doesn't mean that it is false.
2. If you want me to believe you, the burden of proof is on you. I have no motivation to prove your point.
3. Typing it into google is not research. You have to actually read the articles and find an article from a reliable source. Preferably 3 reliable sources.
- I didn't disagree with the post, I simple said, okay prove it. But your insult TOTALLY convinced me.. well played.
(S?)He just said that "typing it into Google is not research".
How are you supposed to believe this picture, which easily could've been a Google Image picture that OP stumbled upon, with no links any of this happening for real?
What is wrong with you people? Just google the name mentioned in the meme. Is it too hard cause you can't c/p it? Here: Jayden David - you know, after the typing, look below: lots of links to information of very diverse quality. And that's where the research starts, yours for the taking.
Is the non-psychoactive CBD potenially beneficial for children suffering from hundreds of seizures a day? The info is easily available. Up to your discretion. I'm not going to be the "Best of the interwebs" host for anyone, and I'm sure as hell not trying to convince anyone of anything. If I happen to find anything worth mentioning, I share it. Trying to convince other people, is that really why anyone is here? That would explain a lot...
Cause it's fun. Remember the name of this site? There's places and circumstances where I try to convince people, but an anonymous meme shack? Yea, well, no.
Should've been legal since before alcohol was. And it was at one point, until our govt realized it could benefit financially much more if it wasn't. Always pisses me off when some self righteous idiot who finds no problem in poisoning themselves with alcohol has the gull to bash people using a plant in any form.
It's a plant, not a finite resource. I live in Colorado, the recreational demand is great, yet well matched by the supply. You don't need to hoard pot for people using it medicinally to have access.
I want to use recreationally. I will support medical legalization as well, though, because I have relatives with neurological disorders that doctors in other countries believe cannabis helps.
that's incorrect.
"hundreds of seizures a day, for his entire life.."
the commas are unnecessary
I can complain if I want; this is why we have the ability to comment. But it's not like I expect the OP to delete the post. I just like to complain.
Also, you didn't answer my question.

I'd respect them a little bit more if they'd just drop the bullshit.
