I'm going cremation. But I understand that everyone has their own choice to make. Just don't make others have to choose for you.

Both my mother and best friend donated their bodies to science of course they both died of cancer so research is important in those cases. Although in my mother's case we had to choose to do that since she went so quick and was comatose her last two months.

Sorry to hear that- but in most cases after "science" is done with them, they give the body back and you *still* have to bury/cremate it.

They cremated my mother already, the burial is a different matter. My friend had no family to speak of so a neighbor/friend volunteered to take care of him unfortunately I live too far away to be able to help, I actually hadn't seen him in about two years although we always talked and he encouraged me to join this site since he knew I'm pretty stressed out and need to laugh more.

I'm going cryo lol no just kidding I am still deciding cremation or burial. But for both I already have plans for each. Like if I get cremated I want to be made into glass stones and be given to my loved ones. And have one buried with my parents. And have another one be place somewhere beautiful. It be like spreading my ashes but I be a glass stone instead of a clump of dust that people will trample on or worse spill and clean up with a broom or vacuum.

How about being a tree? I heard of a company that buries your remains in a biodegradable cup with a tree seed. Imagine a grave orchard instead a graveyard full of stone.
