My father refuses to teach me to change a tire. Thinks I'll fuck up the whole car and should just call AAA.

My dad has never tried to teach me because I'm a girl

I teach my daughter. Starting to teach her to drive tractors, been teaching her maintenance for years.

I'm the kind of dad that plans on teaching his daughter this, not to mention how to rebuild engines, etc, BECAUSE she's a girl. Both my son and daughter should know how to function in daily life without depending too much on others.

My dad's pretty old fashioned. But to be fair he only taught one of my brothers and I'm sure if I asked he would eventually teach me
