Mass shootings were a thing before this website was.

They are more and more commonplace now. The media milk them like a fucking miracle cow.

Are you sure the media milking them isn't just making them seem more common?

Look back over the last 20 years. Look at how the word has changed

Yeah, I did. I looked at the data, where there hasn't been a significant increase in mass shootings for at least 30 years and crime as a whole has been slowly going down.

Memes change with current events. I'm a political junkie and find a lot of it funny. Next year the elections will be over and something else will be front and center.
