I thought cats were lactose intolerant. Or can they only drink milk in small quantities?

They don't care about that though. Small doses. But they love it.

Fun fact: cats actually don't care for milk more than they do water. They can't really taste the difference.

Hmm.. But when we used to give milk (small doses mixed with water) to our cat, she'd start shivering and purring while drinking it

Fun fact: all mammals love the taste of milk, even if they can't always digest it. Even rabbits will gladly drink milk if given a chance (don't though, they are also lactose intolerant).
