The people saying that are probably the people who raised the exceptions.

"The millennials are so dumb"
Okay but how were you any better when you were our age? The only difference is we have more advanced technology and we take advantage of it
You're using "irony" incorrectly.
"Irony
ˈʌɪrəni/
noun
the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect."
Think about it guys, especially you younglings. Your parents did not raise you; social media trolls and extreme liberal teachers did. When's the last time you actually listened to your parents?
I'm 15 and I live in Croatia (eastern Europe). It's a mostly catholic country and because of that familiy plays a very important role in our society. My peers (with some exceptions of course) and I respect and listen to our parents because that's how we were raised. Naturally, social media is very present in our lives but I'd say that, here, it doesn't have as much influence as, for example, in America and for that I must say that I am grateful. I have been raised by my family without all the bullsh*t that you see on tv today and because of that I recognize the bullsh*t and stay away from it.
My parents raised me. I listened to them, hook line and sinker, till I was about 24 or 25. I did a lot of stupid shit getting out of that? But I've never regretted any of it as much as I've regretted listening to my parents about who and what I was supposed to be.
