How is that possible

He was accused of raping a woman, I think he served some time for it but it turned out the woman lied (I'm not 100% on all the facts tbh so I may be slightly wrong), the judge had already said he was a danger to the public and enforced this judgement upon him. It fucked up his life, his kids won't see him and he's homeless and no one will hire him. He recently tried to appeal it but the judge said no.

Did the woman get punished at all really? That's fucked up.
