developing from tonyw54's comment which is a valid one, I'll clarify why it's useless(some points are ideas):
-seems bulky
-book sizes are different
-needing to have/carry an additional item
-does it slide?
-glare
overall it's a good idea but could be executed a little different. how, you ask? I dunno, I'm asking that aswell.
atleast a better concept than Apples idea of getting rid of the headphone jack
1) it is, but for big books you need a heavy weight
2) doesn't matter as long as it holds down the middle part of the book
3) true dat
4) maybe it's designed for when the book is laying on the table
5) might be a problem, depends on where you use it and what kind of glass it's made of (non-reflective maybe)
Not to mention the fact that you have to lift it up every time you turn a page. The most practical use seems to be for cookbooks or other instructional books that need to be on one page for extend periods of time.
