Yeah we named the others after fictional entities representing our lack pf knowledge of the cosmos. And our own planet named after a real thing that we understand

That's not entirely correct, as the name of our planet is actually Tellus, which is latin, and means: An ancient Roman goddess of the earth, marriage, and fertility, identified with the Greek goddess Gaea. In other words, all the plantes in the solar system are named after gods or godesses

I prefer the the meaning of "Earth" to be "fertile soil", not dirt. You know, seeing as the Earth is the only planet we know to support life.
