Texas is fucking big, though. In New England if you wanna go from one city to another, it's, like, a couple hours, maybe less? If you want to go from San Antonio to Dallas, that's like, a day thing.
If Texas is bigger than Texas then that means there's a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas within a Texas.
I am from CA, which is pretty big. Takes for days to go south to north. NOTHING, though, SUCKS like driving ANYWHERE in Texas. It's the most boring place in the US. Flat. Hot. Dirt. Cowboy hats. Construction. Creepy railroad crossings with no trains (ala' Chainsaw Massacre).
People always ask why Americans never travel, but when you can go to any sort of climate all in the same country, you don't really need to go to a different one, except maybe to see a different culture. Maybe.

@ chakun: I agree. We have all the cool stuff here! @guestwho: Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas are equally painful to drive through. Iowa is really pretty around the river, though.
And that was just the panhandle!
