I always feel...unsafe whenever that message comes up

"your" is the keyword here. Your files are where you left them; obviously if anything has moved, they weren't really your files to begin with. They were window's files, it just let you borrow them for a bit.

I mean yeah, I would expect all my files to be right where I fucking left them. I would hope my OS doesn't just filter through my files when it feels like it.
