Already our senses are really limited. Like bees can see ultraviolet and some other animal can see infra-red, and dogs can hear much higher pitched sounds and smell things much more acutely than us.
The one that gets me is thinking about all these processes that happen all around us but or too fast or too slow for us to recognise any patterns in them, like cosmic events that cycle over millions of years.
We could still understand that movement would cause air vibrations: sound and we can easily make a machine to show sound.
Same with seeing radiation we might not be able to sense or see it but we could still understand and use the information
We can't detect most the electro magnetic spectrum without technology. In fact we probably sense less than one billionth of reality without technology.
There are certain species of sharks, I think, that can sense heat coming off of bodies from very far away. And some other marine life that can detect electrical currents differently than ua.
It's nit perfect night vision, but you can at least get around in the dark better
