I was only 6 when it happened, but I still remember it clearly. Even though I live in Germany and not the US, this was so shocking for all of us and I cried.
Ahhh! I'm so old! I was 14 when it happened. My memory of that day is so odd. I can remember so much of it in great detail, but it is also like a blur. So many of us were in shock.
In a couple of years will be a new batch of people who have lived under the Patriot Act all their lives and think that kind of government intrusion is "normal".
Damn, finally somebody else who thinks that it sucks. So many millennials think it is normal and encourage more intrusion! Single worst piece of legislation in my lifetime.
I'm a high school freshman and it happened a /month/ before I was born. I actually know quite a few people who were technically alive at the time... including a pair of twins born on the day.
I'm a teacher and one if my students was born 9/10/01. It made me think of how parents of newborns felt. They might have still been in the hospital when everything happened and I teach in Queens, NY. They were not that far away
