Not very many people today know this: Hillary was on the Watergate Committee in 1973. She was thrown out by other Democrats for lying and unethical behavior in trying to deny Nixon his constitutional rights.
I wasn't there, and Google returns about as much info confirming this as refuting it.
Snopes bases their entire argument on whether Zeifman had the authority to fire her, not whether the other claims of impropriety were true, but since Snopes is regarded as the Bible today I'll accept that the story may be false.

''The problem is that Hillary Clinton remained on the Watergate Committee until Richard Nixon resigned and the Committee was shut down. Hillary Clinton did not work directly for Jerry Zeifman, and so he had no authority to fire her. There is no evidence she was fired, so this story is false.''
