That would be horrific if those trees could see what was going on. It would be like living in an aquarium, in a house made of preserved people.

I doubt that's respecting nature as much as it is an aesthetic choice... that's a heck of a lot of work just to protdct two trees.

I'm pretty sure you're right, they were planning on making support pillars, but decided to build around the trees with glass for aesthetic choice.
