I stopped reading when it said, "tastes somewhere between turkey and real beef." That's their way of saying, "it taste enough like beef that you know it's not complete tree bark."
I am guessing that the taste is probably due to the "medium rare" appearance giving the burger a placebo effect. (Especially because they make a point to show you how real it looks) Taste buds are pretty easy to fool when under the guidance of a visual image; however, in a blindfold test I'm guessing it would be easy to tell the difference between the real burger and the impostaburger. Then again, I haven't personally tried it so it might not taste like barf and cardboard.
They're not trying to make a law or anything, just trying to convince a restaurant to carry a new item on the menu. They're not telling them to stop carrying beef burgers, so why do you care?
