Whoa. That's a thought. Do you show the kid the movie and run the risk of having the trauma ingrained in their memory come back every time they think of the movie?
He was calming a rightfully terrified child, which is a very good use of time, not a waste. There may not of been anyone else to calm the child. Wouldn't you feel guilty if you saw a child in that state and you just left them because it "wasn't your job"?
Nope. And he's not doing any of the dangerous, hard work he's paid for. Just watching a movie with a kid. Like I said: a great excuse for slacking off.
Wow. Maybe he had finished his job at the crash and is just being a caring human by keeping a small child company while they are being treated. I don't think you would quite suit a job around people who need help. Perhaps go into an office job where there is minimal human interaction.
