But isnt 103k waaayyy too much for a speeding ticket? Just sayin. Then you might say, "make it a small percentage!" Then poor people will only have to pay like 2 cents

That IS small percentage. They're not doing "Like, you're rich 90 percent for you, you're blue collar, 10 for you". It's same for all, but the Richie richer takes 320 grands and someone pays 300 bucks. Traffic regulations are not your genitals (something you play with) you can take lives if you don't obey them. If anything law should be harsher! We have celebrities here that killed kids and bribed chief of police with their weekly earnings and got away with it. If it'd been 70% of her life savings (or life years) she'd make a good example. You should go to prison for 2 miles over the assigned speed.

Think about it. Even if you are filthy rich, wouldn't you be mad that you are paying $103,000 for a simple speeding violatiom? Especially since other people are paying a couple dollars for the same, or possibly a worse violation?

I'm very very cheap(is that the right word),I'd never throw money mindlessly, I find that the greatest trait from my Jewish heritage, even if I had billions, I'd hate to pay 3 bucks for not paying attention if I speeded up. But I'm just saying people here bribed police with their pocket money for killing a kid (allegedly driving jeep of NBA player Vlade Divac) even our minister killed a lady and payed a ticket, like quarter of his (regular) salary. And 5 days ago ambulance car driver ran over a granny (twice) and I actually saw him smirking, like "Who gives a fuck I'll pay for her" (he has no more than 300 bucks pay, imagine him not worrying, how much a human life costs) if minister can why shouldn't I. If they incarcerated minister for life, with 2 million for bail money... Driver wouldn't smirk. If they're earning 350,000 and pay 200 $ for a kid's life...

Mhm sounds good in theory but think of the statistics. More car accidents are caused by inexperienced drivers who dont even have an income (teenagers.) So what would they pay? $0?

No it's not terrible. You are dumb :). If I was a millionaire I would run you over and blame YOU for j-walking (even if you didn't do it) and I would pay ticket for not turning on my blinking light for turning left. Report would say I tried but it broke and you were where you weren't supposed to be, so it's totally your fault. While in reality I was drunk as a dodo and bumped you 5 meters from the traffic lights and crossing. I'd pay my pocket money and you would pay with your life...
