It's not even that, modern bumpers are made of cheap material so they'll be inexpensive to replace and also so they're less likely to cause damage.

@garlog you may be correct but I am also correct,look up "crumple zones" and don't call someone out without doing your research again

I know what crumple zones are and usually they have nothing to do with the bumper itself. They're specific points on the frame and related structures that are designed to collapse in such a way as to absorb impact while still allowing as much kinetic energy as possible to travel around the cab (and also through passengers' femurs).
What we're looking at in the picture is just a bent bumper.
