If I did that then I wouldn't have this bitchin bald eagle on fire holding the James king bible in one talon with the American flag in the other flying through a storm of bullets tattooed on my back. It would have cost too much.
But seriously, I went in and got almost my entire right shoulder done. I think this advice works best on smaller tattoos.
But then I wouldn't have this snake playing the fiddle with Charlie Daniels on the right side of my face. Would have been too expensive.
I'm kidding.
Good point.
got a idea if have any doubts at all, don't get one,,I knew since I was a kid I was getting covered, being raised in a family of bikers probally helped,,,I hate it is now a "common" thing or the "cool" thing to get inked,,,I got mine for one reason to be left alone, not to have something in common with the guy in front me at checkout that thinks his tiny tribal makes us brothers
to add, when I was 5-6 I asked I biker friend of my pops why he ink on his hand and arms. he smiled and said it a warning sign that I'm not a nice person. I got covered for this reason but now a days it doesn't work people want to ask shit and touch you. wtf
Who the fuck is touching you? I've got one on my wrist, a sleeve on my leg, and almost my entire right shoulder. Literally two people have touched it. My wife, and my 2 yr old daughter... and doctor who gave me a flu shot. So three people. And only a few have asked what they mean, but it's like 1 person every six months.
I have old people in gas stations, grocery lines and several place touch my arm and ask questions too, one old man rubbed my arm in Walmart while I was picking something up, he backed up so quick when I glared at him
My husband is a tattoo artist and this is the dumbest thing he's ever heard. One, it won't stay. Two, if you're unsure about a tattoo, don't get one. Three, who cares if it's 'common'? Good lord. Let people enjoy their shitty tribal tattoos. It's not that serious.
It's point isn't to stay, it's to confirm you like your shitty tribal tattoo.

it is funny i remember for the longest time it was weird to have tattoos. it was the uncommon thing. now it is uncommon to NOT have tattoos. i don't have any and it confuses people. i know myself. if i got a tattoo it would bother me so much if there was any error. even if i saw a little ink bleed i would want to take a power sander to it. so i took the move to not get one.

one thing i hate is that there are so many people with such random tattoos with random placements. there is no rhyme or reason. it is like asking a 5 year old to place bumper stickers on a lamborghini. even if they are nice bumper stickers, with poor placement and mixed styles it just looks sloppy and obnoxious. if you are going for many tattoos please have it make sense and look good together. it is art, treat it as such.
But seriously, I went in and got almost my entire right shoulder done. I think this advice works best on smaller tattoos.
