People: we cant use these obvious buttons/you expect US to do work ?!
Ex workers: You should've paid us what we asked for
( Note: I totally don't agree with $15 for taking orders and simply heating up food )
Man, these machines are awesome. Extremely intuitive, and for the love of me, I can finally see the whole menu (mc donalds was always a mess when you didn't know what menus existed and what was temporary and what wasn't), and most importantly : I can check "no onions" and I'v never ever had something with onions ever since.
Well, in most French McDonalds we have those and you know what ? Customers order faster = no queues = starving customers are not discouraged when McDonalds are overcrowded = much more orders = too many meals for the current staff = McDonalds HIRES staff :)
Maybe because they're too busy saving lives??? And they are too fighting for better pay, they just have a higher cost for risking it all and skipping work to picket.
I don't get it. What's the exact job description of employees that are replaced by these roboths. Were they just taking orders. Good thing you replaced them. Goddammit you get paid for stupidest stuff . Or were they delivering food to customers. Cause these overrated windows can't do that.
Some of the employees did deliver the food to the tables out of kindness, or ordered by the manager, etc. But I don't think it's a requirement at something like Mickey D's. But you're right. They didn't have much of a much when it comes to job skills at all. Certainly not warranting that huge of an income increase.
He paid us with the blood of his enemies and we accepted it happily.
Hail Odin.
If you require someone to pay more for something than it's worth, you're going to get a lot less of it. If you require, for example, people to pay an arm and a leg to have their lawns mowed, more people will do it themselves or plant a lawn that needs less mowing.
To make things doubly stupid, one excuse is that you can't raise a family on minimum wage. Beside the fact that nobody owes others the "right" to raise a family or to have their own place on whatever job they might have, a lot of minimum wage workers are NOT raising a family, but are youths in their first jobs. So, in the name of doing good, we actually remove the first rung on the ladder of jobs/careers. But, at least we get to FEEL good about something, even though it's actually harming those we want to help. Plus, we get to feel good about helping while costing someone else the money.
