It wasn't resistant to all know antibiotics..it was resistant to all 26 antibiotics available in the US. There were some antibiotics that may have helped but they're illegal in the US.

Good thing I'm practically immune to disease at this point. Sometimes I think I'm a carrier for diseases like Typhoid Mary because people around me get sick but I don't.

In fact, now I'm both sick and injured. I have a cold, and woke to a mild scratch across my chest and a limp.

They're called super bugs. They kills tons of people every year. The best way to avoid these is to not take any medication unless you really need to so the virus can't adapt.

And if you are prescribed a medication, follow through with the whole prescription, even if you already feel better, unless the doctor tells you otherwise. You may still be infected, and the surviving bacteria could become resistant if you don't finish the prescription.

Some illnesses we just don't have vaccines for, such as strep throat or hypernatremia.
