You can make an argument for this specific example, but much of what God did in the old testament was inexcusable. He was a psychotic serial killer with a God complex in every sense of the word. Not even a serial killer, more like genocide levels... murders usually committed for no or petty reasons. Not even mentioning the fact that your God allows all the terrible things in the world. And there is no good explanation for why God allows bad things in the world.

You talk about God so disrespectfully, as if he has a human mind. You cannot conceive his thought processes. Have you thought that perhaps he was shaping us, and always has been, for something. Without suffering humans cannot learn, they cannot become stronger, emotionally and mentally

Um actually if God is omnipotent he can achieve any means with the snap of his fingers, so saying that the suffering but was "necessary" is also admitting God is not all-powerful. And you're saying that God just had to murder all those children to make us stronger? What a load of bullshit.

If everything went perfect in the world and nothing bad ever happened and god used his power the way you want, it would be called heaven not earth. It seems that God is preparing us, or testing us idk for sure, so that we may ascend to a higher place that's not earth, like heaven. It's called blind faith for a reason and you shouldn't put people down because they believe.

I dont think you've really thought that through based on your comment. I'd encourage you to do so. Anyways, why does the world have to be the way it is? Why "test" us when you already know the results and you created everything in such a way to crrate those results? That's not a test. And I never in these comments put people down for believing, I just critisized the christain god. Don't think I am attacking you because I attack your religion. I know why you might think that because your faith is such a big part of who you are. I was once religious, I understand. But I still think it's stupid and want to help people out of the delusion.
